Bill Hogwood, Deputy Chairman of Philadelphia Park and Parx Casino, is the latest in a long line of distinguished international speakers confirmed for the inaugural Leaders in Racing conference, held on the 6th October 2011 at Chelsea FC.

Hogwood bought the Philadelphia Park Racecourse, Phonebet system, and the rights to the future development of up to six off-track betting sites in the Philadelphia area for a sum exceeding $67 million, back in 1990 with his partner Robert Green. Hogwood and Green have enjoyed a long and successful career in bookmaking in Britain with their company Greenwood Racing, Inc.
